Preparation time: 40 minutes.
Ingredients: 8 peppers (washed, cut and without seeds), 100 g of Deroni rice, 400 g diced peeled tomatoes (or chopped canned tomatoes), dill, parsley, 200 g minced chicken meat, 1 spoon of minced fresh mint (or a teaspoon of dried mint), salt, pepper, 1 spoon of olive oil, 50 g of  tomato paste.
Method of preparation: Mix the rice with the minced meat, chop the vegetables and the tomatoes and add oil. Fill the pepper. Put them in a pot, arranging them in line. Pour some diluted tomato paste on top of everything. Wait while it s being cooked on the stove and cover the pot. Serve it with yogurt or sour cream.

Turkish stuffed vine leaves

Preparation time: 180 minutes.
Ingredients: vine leaves, 500 g of minced beef, 500 of minced pork, 2  onions, 1 cup of Deroni rice, 5 glasses of white wine, 2 parsley bundles, 2 slices of bread, , 200 g of bacon, salt, pepper, oil.
Method of preparation: Boil the vine leaves in salted water for about 3 minutes, then take them out on soaking paper and let it cool. The rice is boiled in salted water, following the package indications regarding the boiling time. Mix the beef with the pork, adding the minced onion, minced parsley, the bread dipped in water or broth, the boiled and drained rice, salt and pepper. Mix everything well and take a spoon of the composition and roll a vine leaf around it. Continue this operation until you finish all the ingredients. On the bottom of a pot add a layer of small cut bacon, then place the rolled stuffed vine leaves, avoiding to leave space between them. . Add wine and a cup of soup. Put the dish in the oven and let it cook over slow heat for 2-3 hours.
